I am a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Kentfield, California. Trained at the The Wright Institute in Berkeley, my approach emphasizes compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based treatment. At its core, my job is to help get you where you want to be in life in the simplest way we can find.

I address client concerns with a warm style, combining humor and creativity with empirically researched and validated interventions.

Depending on what brings you in, I employ a variety of techniques and interventions most suited to your goals. This means that sometimes I take a "top-down" cognitive behavioral approach, applying skills to help you better manage mood or address problematic behaviors you wish to shift. Other times I utilize a "bottom-up" approach to uncover patterns, often learned through one's family of origin, to create new insights and more flexible ways of moving through the world. For those with trauma in their background, I am trained in helping clients reprocess those experiences using a form of therapy called EMDR, an integrative psychotherapy extensively researched and proven effective.

Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.
